The traffic pattern on East Brainerd Road at I-75 will be temporarily altered between 9 p.m. EDT Thursday, October 22, and 6 a.m. EDT Tuesday, October 27, 2020, in preparation for the weekend closure the I-75 North ramp to I-24 West. The temporary traffic pattern on East Brainerd Road is necessary to accommodate the planned I-75/I-24 interchange detour.

TDOT contract crews will close the ramp from I-75 North to I-24 West between 9:00 p.m. EDT Friday, October 23, and 6:00 a.m. EDT Monday, October 26, 2020, in order to make critical connections as part of the I-75/I-24 Interchange Modification project in Chattanooga, Hamilton County. A five-mile detour will be in place during the closure.
