TDOT will conduct quarterly testing and maintenance on the Market Street Bridge in downtown Chattanooga on Sunday, June 13, 2021. The bridge will be closed to pedestrian and vehicle traffic from 8:00 a.m. EDT to 3:00 p.m. EDT while testing is performed.

Due to rainy weather, TDOT contract crews have rescheduled the work to modify traffic patterns near Broad and Market Streets near I-24 in Chattanooga. The work will now take place beginning after 9:00 a.m. EDT Monday, June 14, 2021.

World Ocean Day is a global celebration designed to inspire appreciation and action for the sustainable management of the ocean and protection of marine life.
