K-12 Mental Health Trust Fund Infrastructure (Non-Recurring)

TDMHSAS is inviting proposals from local service providers for the Announcement of Non-Recurring Funding for Infrastructure Grants. This initiative aims to allocate funds to TDMHSAS Planning and Policy Council regions, facilitating the development of infrastructure for school-based programs. The Announcement of Non-Recurring Funding for Infrastructure Grants targets seven (7) regions identified by the TDMHSAS Planning and Policy Council, along with the respective counties within these regions. The primary focus of this project is to enhance infrastructure support for mental health programming in schools, specifically benefiting children and youth in grades K-12 across Tennessee.

Creating Affordable Housing

TDMHSAS is requesting information regarding one-time funding needs from agencies and organizations throughout the state of Tennessee who provide community-based mental health and/or substance use treatment, for the Creating Affordable Housing grant. The purpose of this grant is to expand the number of safe, affordable, and quality permanent housing opportunities for Tennesseans experiencing mental illness or co-occurring disorder, specifically individuals who are uninsured as well as individuals ready for discharge from Regional Mental Health Institutes (RMHIs). Proposals can be submitted at any time through March 31^st, 2025; TDMHSAS intends to review and make selections from received proposals on a quarterly basis throughout FY2025 while funds are available.

Inclusion of Regional Housing Facilitators & Regional Substance Use Housing Facilitators: It is the intent of the State to ensure utilization of the Regional Housing Facilitators and/or the CHI 2.0 Regional Substance Use Housing Facilitators in some capacity (i.e., consultation, review, writing, etc.) for all eligible proposals. TDMHSAS) is requesting information regarding one-time funding needs from agencies and organizations throughout the state of Tennessee who provide community-based mental health and/or substance use treatment, for the CHI 2.0 grant. The purpose of this grant is to expand the number of safe, affordable, and quality permanent housing opportunities for Tennesseans, including individuals who are uninsured, living with substance use disorder, in particular opioid use disorder. Proposals can be submitted at any time through March 31^st, 2025; TDMHSAS intends to review and make selections from received proposals on a quarterly basis throughout FY2025 while funds are available.

Proposals can be submitted at any time through March 31^st, 2025; TDMHSAS intends to review and make selections from received proposals on a quarterly basis throughout FY2025 while funds are available.

RFI: Learning Management System

TDMHSAS issues this Request for Information (“RFI”) for the purpose of reviewing options available for an electronic learning management system (LMS).  TDMHSAS is seeking information from vendors as to what learning management systems and options are available. In particular, TDMHSAS is interested in learning more about LMS that offer video conferencing functionality, certification and compliance management, interactive training opportunities, testing and reporting, integration, and content authoring capability. 

Residential Reentry Housing 

TDMHSAS Division of Mental Health Services is requesting proposals from TDMHSAS Licensed Community Mental Health Providers to establish and provide long-term quality housing with enhanced-level supportive residential services for Tennesseans experiencing Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) who re-enter the community from custody of the Tennessee Department of Correction (TDOC), incarceration in county jails, or are justice involved.  Facilities providing Residential Re-entry Housing Program (RRHP) services will be required to be licensed by TDMHSAS as Mental Health Adult Supportive Residential Facilities.  Adult Supportive Residential facilities are mental health residential programs that provide twenty-four (24) hours residential care with a treatment and rehabilitation component less intensive than what is required in a Residential Treatment Facility.
